Welcome to our blog!

Welcome to the Highland 1st Ward Relief Society blog.  We're so glad you stopped by to see what's happening.  We plan to use this blog to keep everyone updated with the events and happenings of our Relief Society family.

At the top:  Here you will find a monthly calendar.  The default view of this calendar will be the current month however you can use the arrow keys to view any month that you would like.  We will add to the calendar as events come up so check back often if you're wondering what is going on throughout the month.

Just below the calendar will be links to various pages.  Currently there is a page for those that are participating in making the Book of Mormon quilt.  We will upload the pattern/patterns that we are working on each month so that you can download and print them if you're not able to make it to a class.

You'll also notice another page at the topped called "Ward Advertisements".  This page is reserved for those of you that want to advertise your business or talents.  Let us know if you'd like to add your business information on this page.

We will be adding a page for Fabulous Friday that will include information, pictures and prices for what has previously been called Super Saturday.  Mark your calendars for Friday October 8th for this Fabulous Friday event!

On the right side: We will keep an updated list of the upcoming lessons.  For the most part, you can click on the lesson title to be taken to the lesson on lds.org.  We will also keep a link to the current month's visiting teaching message.

You'll also notice a section called "Our Ward Family" which is currently empty.  This has been reserved for those of you that have a family website or blog.  If you'd like to share this information with the ward, please email us and include a link.

We will also add other items such as polls on the right side as necessary so make sure you check back often.

If you have something you are trying to give away or sell and you want the ward to know about it.  Email us and we'll post it.  Please include a picture or 2 in your email if possible.
